November Honor Choir

We will be singing the following song this Next Week Tuesday the 11th of November for our Veterans Assembly. I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT IT, AND SO I VOLUTEERED OUR HONOR CHOIR TO SING AT IT BECAUSE MOST OF THE 4th GRADERS SANG THIS SONG LAST YEAR.

THE FOLLOWING SONG THE HONOR CHOIR NEEDS TO PRACTICE FOR THEIR CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES

YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW THE SONG ABOUT SANTA PLAYING HIS UKULELE FOR THE 3RD GRADE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

I left this one on here to sing to just for fun. However, I am thinking of having the students perform the Student of the Month songs in the Spring, for the parents who couldn't make it.

GREAT WARM UP SONG TO SING ALONG TO

November Veterans Day

We could start with everyone singing
a Happy Birthday tune to the Veterans.
It goes like this:
OH VETERANS SO TRUE
WE ALL HONOR YOU
YOU FOUGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM
AND OUR COUNTRY TOO

Another tune to sing to is
"Twinkle Little Star" (I'm thinking 2nd -4th grades or just 3rd and 4th grades)
RED STRIPES WHITE STRIPES
LITTLE STARS
OH HOW BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE
RED and WHITE and BLUE
THAT'S TRUE
WAVING PROUD FOR ME and YOU
VETERANS FOUGHT TO KEEP US FREE
NOW WE THANK THEM GRATEFULLY

Everyone stand up and sing
OUR NATIONAL ANTHEN
THE STAR SPANGLE BANNER
PLACE RIGHT HAND ON YOUR HEARTS

Finally we can end with another song I just wrote to the tune
"Oh Christmas Tree". (2nd graders or 2nd -4th grades)
ON VETERANS DAY
ON VETERANS DAY
WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
YOU KEPT OUR COUNTRY
SAFE and FREE
AND YOU
DO ALL THIS
WILLINGLY
ON VETERANS DAY

WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
