K-5 Christmas We Will Jingle Kidsong by Mrs. Carol Louise Moore

It's been awhile, since my last post. I just finished 2 really fun Jingle Bell Christmas programs, one for 107 third graders over at the Payette Primary school and another for 245 fourth and fifth graders at the Westside Elementary School. I only wish I had asked someone to record them for me.
Oops, my bad oversight.

One of the favorite songs that I have been teaching Kindergarten through 5th grades, and was sung at the Christmas programs this year is "We Will Jingle".

Yes, "We Will Jingle" is from the 
original tune of "We Will Rock You". 
I promised the kids that they will get to sing 
"We Will Rock You" after Christmas break. 

Meanwhile have fun singing along to
 "We Will Jingle" with the bells. 

I did put together some great power point presentations to help the kids sing their songs during their Christmas programs. My next goal is to convert them to a video file that I can share on YouTube for them. I just barely figured out how to do that.

for the kids to have fun singing along too.

1-5 Grade My Favorite Things Kidsong Music Lesson by Mrs. Carol Louise Moore

Okay kids,  I started teaching this song after teaching what  OPTIMISTIC is in the music classroom and then doing the OPTIMISTIC clapping activity.


So, do you know what OPTIMISTIC means? 

OPTIMISTIC means POSITIVE

POSITIVE means GOOD

and what kind of things does Mrs. Moore want you to think of in order to be 

OPTIMISTIC

POSITIVE

&

GOOD

?

Yes! I want you to think of your

FAVORITE THINGS

Please remember to think of your FAVORITE THINGS, when bad things happen in your life, 

like a dog biting, 

getting stung by a bee, 

or you are feeling really sad.

When you remember to think of your FAVORITE THINGS,

you will feel

HAPPY
